Coder Book Five Princes of Prophecy 5 eBook L Ann Marie
This is the first book that I've read by this author and it's different from anything I've ever read. It's an mc romance with a touch of the paranormal. Each member of the princes have their own unique abilities. Abilities that they use to protect their people from those that wish them harm. It's recommended to read the previous books before reading any of the princes books. I didn't so I don't think I missed out too much. I prefer the paranormal stories and this also being an mc romance is an added bonus. The story is not rushed and choppy but full of rich details. The reader can almost picture themselves in the world of the princes. It's a good story.

Coder Book Five Princes of Prophecy 5 eBook L Ann Marie Reviews
L Ann Marie continues to produce quality work .A beautiful and rich back story that gives a richness and depth to the next installment of an amazing storyline. Each time I read these books I fall in love and engage with all her characters and she is able to make the main and supporting charaters shine thorugh with their own special draw. Lots of crazy biker antics and freaky kids fun. All in all a wonderful and engaging read, couldn't put it down.
Loved Brantley and Holly's story.
Brantley Blackhawk, works HS IT for the Princes. A single father to his infant son. He is respected by his brothers.
Holly is an orphan. She is a teacher and children's book author whobis working as a receptionist for the Prince's.
Holly is targeted by the unknown organization that has been attempting to kidnap the old ladies and kids of the Princes and MC Baxter's. Rescued by Brantley and Taylor, she is badly injured. Brantley takes her in to protect her and allow her to heal. His young son is as drawn to her as he is. When the seers say she belongs, Brantley starts working Patches list to make Holly his old lady and make her officially Mucimi's mom.
There are a lot of growing pains for the Blackhawk family. The MC Baxter's are still struggling with the fact the Princes are capable adults. They are getting better. Traitors are caught and the larger threat has been eliminated.
Loved little Mucimi. Happy to see Jeremy grow up a little and Jacob step out of his shadow. Christian, allowing Holly, his brothers and father in, easing his burden. Taylor getting help. Looking foreword to Taylors story.
L Ann Marie’s books are fascinating to me, but they need to be read in order to enjoy them. Also, if you are a stickler about editing issues and typos, these aren’t the books for you.
Coder is the first of the “next generation” books that I’ve had a bit of a hard time dealing with the fact that a character I knew as a child has now grown into a man. We met Brantley way back when he was twelve years old right before he was adopted by Cloud and C.J. He was the sweetest and least intense of the Blackhawk brothers despite being one of the oldest. To add to that he’s a computer geek and he reminded me of my son. I certainly wasn’t ready for little Brantley to be a Dad, much less have to go through such an emotional journey when he brought his son home.
As we learned more about all Brantley does for his MC, he reminded of Danny LaPonte. I’m pretty sure Brantley was underestimated by not only his MC family but his parents and siblings as well. Part of it was maturity (he was a bit precocious) but a big part was because his skills and gifts aren’t as flashy as his siblings. Seems the sons are having to learn the same lessons their fathers did.
Some of these kids are still extremely young, and this book really showcased to me the effects of opening up a chapter away from the main MC and their parents, no matter how ready or “special” they are. What I did like was how the bond between not only the brothers but also how the Blackhawk siblings are getting tighter than they already were.
Brantley had some rough roads to travel. First, he became a single Dad under some horribly emotional circumstances, then the woman who he doesn’t realize is his, is viciously attacked right in front of him. And as usual, a brother is claiming his woman so a war will commence and Brantley’s skills are tested with the direst of consequences if he fails.
I felt a bit cheated because we miss the slowly falling in love aspect that I need in a romance. Instead, the readers and seers of the MC say it is meant to be, so everyone just kind of falls into line with it. As much as these books fascinate me, that gets on my nerves.
As for Holly, she is super shy and extremely sweet. She had a less than stellar childhood but we only get the barest details about that. She didn’t wow me, although I liked that she’s willing to take all the Blackhawk brothers under her wing until they are ready to fly on their own.
Next up is Taylor who has been on a dark road of his own while he battles PTSD. I’m glad we are seeing signs of him trying to get his feet under him, but I think he’s got a bumpy ride ahead of him. I just hope that we get a romance with some depth to it for his book.
I love all of L. Ann Marie's books. I actually tried to put off reading this because I know with every book of hers, once I start I won't want to stop. Coder was no different. I loved it! Brantley and Holly had us wrapped just like they did each other. The dynamic of the family is getting deeper and hooking us further. I am already waiting to ready the next book.
A year ago I was trolling looking for an MC read and MC Knight's cover caught my eye; I admit I am seduced by a good cover. Well I loved it and proceeded to quickly buy up the others and fell in love with L Ann biker world.
We met Brantley in MC Blackhawk, one of six foster children adopted by CJ & Cloud. He was always in the periphery, nothing special about him, the kid brother that would pop up in the stories. He has always been there quietly supporting his family, the MC and now the Princes. After a short relationship ends he is left a single father to a beautiful boy.
Holly has been alone since she was 17 when she survives a horrific attack Brantley is there to help her through. Their relationship evolves as continued threats plague them, the trafficking continues and they learn how to handle a very powerful child.
The message of sharing your strength, always protecting your women & children and the brotherhood always has your back continues.
Everyone from the MC makes appearances, and the Princes continue to live what they were taught. We also get a little more of Christian and Taylor is still struggling with PTSD. Another great read in one of the best series around.
